JMR Landscaping Acquires Thames Landscape & Design Inc.

JMR Landscaping of Libertyville is pleased to announce its February 1 acquisition of Thames Landscape and Design. After running his business for the last 15 years, John Thames has now entrusted JMR with the many long term relationships that he developed during that time. For John, it was important to pass his business on to someone who would continue the same level of service and dedication that he had when the business began.

Joseph M. Rossa (Joey), founder and owner of JMR Landscaping, credits John Thames with much of his success. Family friends since 2002, Rossa was a young boy andalways admired Thames’ business, wanting to help whenever possible. He performed much of the labor himself, while peppering Thames with questions and wanting to learn all he could. Rossa took some small jobs for Thames, hoping that they would lead to greater responsibilities, as he had dreams of running his own business one day.

Since being founded in 2011 and continuing to steadily grow, JMR Landscaping has become a competitive full-service landscaping firm, providing design, construction, and maintenance services. JMR’s 50+ employees take pride in their sincerity, professionalism, and commitment to their customers throughout the North Shore. The recent acquisition will allow for continued growth in Libertyville and the surrounding communities.
